Back to School

Our Memories Lane event this year will focus on secondary education in the City of Whittlesea and includes some schools outside our boundary as these were also well attended by local students.   We are happy to announce that the venue of this event will be Lalor Secondary College auditorium, which was for many years the Beth Gleeson gymnasium, located on the corner of David Street and Dalton Road in Lalor.  Parking will be available on the day.   We will be showcasing a number of digital photos from our collection and also those supplied by various former students as well as many from the Lalor Secondary College archives.  We will also be featuring a number of speakers including some former staff and students.  Anyone is welcome to speak on the day.

Schools we will be including in our digital display include Lalor High School, St Monica’s (Epping), Lalor North High, Lalor Technical School, Epping High, Merrilands High, Keon Park Tech, Whittlesea Technical High, Preston Tech and Mill Park Secondary College.
